Privacy Policy
Plain-language version: we collect almost nothing, track nothing, and sell nothing. The details below are the whole policy — nothing hidden, ever.
What we collect
- Waitlist signups: the email address, city, and category you choose to submit. That's it — we don't ask for anything else and don't want it.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no cookies, no pixels, no third-party trackers, no ad networks, no heatmaps, no session recording. Our tools run entirely in your browser.
- Server logs: like any web host, our hosting provider may record standard request data (IP, browser) for security and reliability. We don't mine it and it isn't used for marketing.
How it's used
- Your waitlist info is used for exactly one thing: contacting you about early access and launch in your city.
- Waitlist submissions are delivered through a form-processing service (FormSubmit) acting as our email delivery conduit. It processes your submission to get it to our inbox — nothing more.
- We never sell, rent, trade, or "monetize" your data. That includes not selling your attention to lead brokers — the exact practice our Open Book doctrine exists to end.
- No profiling, no automated decisions about you, no cross-site tracking — because there is no tracking to begin with.
Your rights (PIPEDA & friends)
- You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — email hello@keyanddeed.ca and we'll action it. There's no form, no fee, no runaround.
- Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately and permanently.
- We keep waitlist data only until you ask us to delete it (or until we've contacted you, if that's earlier and you prefer).
- If you're in Canada, your information is handled in line with PIPEDA's fair information principles. If you think we've mishandled it, tell us first — then escalate to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if we don't make it right.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the change is posted right here with a date. Our rule is that changes can only make it more protective of you — if that ever needs to change, you'll hear it from us directly, not from an updated document you weren't told about.
